Sticky Session for Elastic Load Balancer

Elastic Load Balancer offers 2 kinds of stickiness:

• Load Balancer Generated Cookie Stickiness
• Application Generated Cookie Stickiness

If you support remember_me in your application, you should use Application Cookie.

Steps:

In the AWS Management Console, click on Load Balancers on the left sidebar.

Select a load balancer.

In the Description tab, click on edit for Port Configuration.

Choose Enable Application Generated Cookie Stickiness.

Input your Application's Cookie Name and click on Save.
